March 2008

Well, after a very busy fall, with the PGMA Fall Music Festival, celebrating the birth of our savior, and anticipating the new year, I'm busily preparing for several wonderful summer events!!!  First, I'll be starting my annual California/Arizona tour in early April, but this year, I'm extending it through New Mexico, Texas, Arkansas and points further east and north!!!  I plan on being home by mid May - just in time for Ramming Steer Gospel Music Roundup at the Buhler Farm in Dallas, OR.  Then in mid-June I'll be participating in the American Baptist Association's Annual Messenger Meeting up in Tacoma, Wa.  Late June will bring a much anticipated missions trip to Romania to visit, fellowship with and assist our ABA missionaries there.  What a special blessing!!!  Along with my special little sister in the Lord, Miss Carly Laursen from my church, I'm singing at churches all around the Pacific Northwest in an effort to raise support for this trip.  We ask your prayers for this effort!

Later in the summer I'll help the Knox Brothers celebrate 40 continuous years in gospel music with a gala open air concert and provide Saturday evening entertainment and Sunday Morning devotions at several Thousand Trails campgrounds.

All the while working on CD number 5 - this one will be strictly sacred hymns.  We've got a great start on it - and it should be out by PGMA Fall Music Festival time in late October!

And speaking of the music festival - we are working feverishly to make sure that this year's festival is the most spectacular EVER!  Please don't miss this special weekend - with the Weatherfords, Tim Lovelace, Dennis Agajanian and the Liberty Quartet, along with all the PGMA member artists!

So if any of this jam-packed year of activity looks interesting to you - and you'd like to get particulars, just go to my artist page on the PGMA web site at www.pacificgospel.com

May the good Lord RICHLY bless each and every one of you!!!

October 2007

We stay so busy in this ministry.  I'm ashamed that I don't take the time often enough to update everyone on how we're doing.  I have been so blessed for the past two years....  I truly don't deserve it.  In early 2006 and again in 2007, I toured Arizona and southern California, fellowshipping with a number of wonderful churches there.  In 2006 I also started performing at retirement communities all over Oregon and down in Arizona.  In 2006 I recorded an album of many of the old love songs from the 1920's, 30's and 40's.  These wonderful old songs, which I learned at my Mother's knee, bring great pleasure and wonderful memories to our senior citizens and they truly love it when I intersperse gospel in my programs.  It all contributes to a special witness to our senior citizens.  If you'd like to listen to a sample of some old songs like "It Had to Be You", or "Where or When", check out my web site at www.conniehays.com .  And in 2007 I recorded a new album entitled, "Home For Christmas", a collection of very very special Christmas songs. Samples can be found on the "MUSIC" page at this site.

I was blessed to provide the Sunday Morning service at a couple of the Thousand Trails Campgrounds several times this past summer.

I have managed the ticket and publicity programs for the PACIFIC GOSPEL MUSIC ASSOCIATION for the past two years, in addition to performing at the annual Fall Music Festival - held in November each year.  I am honored to perform with the other PGMA artists, as well as national acts such as The Weatherfords, The Liberty Quartet, The Beene Family, and Dennis Agajanian.  If you're interested in attending the 2007 festival, visit the web site above to get more information about event times, prices and special offerings!

God’s blessings to every one!!!!

December 2004

What an amazing blessing the PGMA Festival was last month!!!!  We met so many wonderful people, heard so much spectacular gospel music and enjoyed the entire weekend more than we ever would have imagined.

We had a booth where folks could come and listen to our new CD, "Keep Me In Your Will" and we were privileged to perform in the New Artists Showcase on Friday afternoon where, though we were expecting around 150 people, there were over 500 people in attendance.  And I think everyone left full of the blessings of gospel music.

I’m back in the studio at Kuryluk Music down in Junction City.  We’re working on my second CD, which is tentatively titled, “Close to Home”, right now.  This one’s going to have a real variety of gospel music, both old and new, including one from the 1950’s, sung in the 1950’s style.  What fun!!!!

We’re also recording a background for the National Anthem.  I LOVE the patriotic music!

I want to wish everyone a blessed and happy Christmas holiday, where everyone remembers the true reason for the celebration – the entrance into the world of the Holy Spirit, embodied the flesh of Jesus Christ, who came to live a sinless life – and to die a horrible death to pay for our sins.  And through His sacrifice, we were given the only chance we would ever have to gain Heaven.  I go to sleep every night with the full assurance that if something should happen, and for some reason God decided it was my time to leave this earth, that I would wake up in an instant in Heaven.  Do you have that same assurance?  If you’re not sure, go to my ministry Salvation web page.  It’s entitled “Romans Road”.  It contains a simple, clear explanation of salvation and how you can know it, have it, and be assured of it until the day you die.  And of course you’re welcome to contact me at any time through the web site.

God’s blessings to every one!!!!

Remember, if you have any questions about the ministry, would like to book a concert or appearance, or would like to be notified when the new CD is released, just click here to email me or call me at 503-507-7203.

Psalms 40:3 -- And He hath put a new song in my mouth even praise unto our God.

September - 2004

In His Will Music Ministry was born just this summer, and we're working hard to get established.  I'm recording a CD of southern and country gospel and sacred music at the Kuryluk Music Studios in Junction City, Oregon.  Working with Gordon Kuryluk is truly a blessing.  He's a musical genius and in addition to working his magic with each track, he provides guidance, encouragement and just the right touch of humor.  We anticipate the CD, tentatively entitled, "Keep Me In Your Will", to be available about mid-October 2004.  So be sure to check back at my web site often.  If you'd like to be notified when the CD is available, just click here to email me.

I've recently joined the Pacific Gospel Music Association (PGMA) as an associate artist.  As such, I'll be performing at the PGMA Music Festival at the "Associate Artist Showcase", which will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 12.  I understand there will be somewhere around 10 or 12 of us "newbies".  I'm very excited about this new aspect of the festival.  And I hope you'll join me and all the other new artists.  I'll be around for the entire festival though, as I'll be manning my booth.  So by all means come and visit me!!!! I'll have my new CD available (Lord willing...) and you'll be able to listen to selections through head phones.

This summer I got my feet wet in the gospel music performing business by appearing a couple of times at the Cloverdale Baptist Church in beautiful Cloverdale, just 3 miles from the coast on Highway 101, and at the "Summer Sounds" concert at the McMinnville Christian Church in McMinnville. What a pleasure and a blessing these experiences were.

Do you know for sure if you died today - that you'd go to heaven?  If not, click here.
